Galatians: Be Free Week 2

We're back with week two of our Galatians study, Be Free, with The Church of Eleven22. We hope you were challenged and have started your journey to true freedom. This week, Pastor Joby Martin, jumps in to Galatians, chapter 1, verses 6-9. Pastor Joby, hits the point, "It is not enough to believe that the gospel is true; it must be received. Read Galatians 1:6-9. What stood out to you in the sermon this week and what did God reveal to you in the Scriptures, maybe for the first time?

What is the Gospel?

What was the difference between the true Gospel and the false gospel they were deserting Jesus for?

What was Paul's emotional response to the Galatians' behavior, and why was he astonished?

What are some of the common, false Gospels of “Jesus + _____”? 

Reflecting on your personal faith journey and the way you were raised to think about salvation, where do you struggle the most not to create a false gospel of Jesus + something else?
