Married for 24 years, Jay is one of those guys who can honestly say, "I love being married!" Jay and Amy married on Saturday, May 18th, 1996. Since then, it has been an adventure like no other! Together they are passionate about marriage and see it as a true gift from God. When experienced in the manner in which God created it, marriage is a perfect picture of God’s love, grace, joy, and mercy!
Jay and Amy are the parents have 5 amazing kids. They have 4 boys and 1 girl. Their may not be perfect. But neither is Jay and Amy. Yet together, by God’s grace, they are working hard to grow a godly family.
For almost 30 years, Jay has served students as a youth pastor or youth director. Student ministry has been a passion of his since he himself was a student. Jay says, there is nothing as exciting as watching a student discover God’s love and grace, and then leading them to find their God given purpose. Along with his love for student ministry, Jay has a growing desire to care for families, encouraging parents as well as students to live a life that is chasing after Jesus. Jay is currently serving as the Director of Family Ministry, at a church in West Virginia.
Jay loves to write. One of the ways he expresses that passion is through children’s books. To date, Jay has written and self-published 5 children’s books, all available through Amazon! The books aren’t anything special. Just fun, simple books for young readers. You can find his books here, Children's Books.
