In the fall of 2013, I served with the YS Team as a volunteer at the National Youth Workers Convention in Nashville, TN. One of the 'Big Room' speakers, Bob Goff, spoke about what it means to love. Later in the Idea Lab, Neely McQueen interviewed Bob. Along with his stories, Bob shares some incredibly simple, yet profound thoughts about love. As I think about church growth, and how we at Harvest Church might be the hands and feet of Jesus, in real and practical ways, Bob's insight into love is most applicable. The first question Bob is asked is, Who first welcomed you? What a great question! Who first welcomed you? Take a few minutes and watch this short video of Bob in the Idea Lab at the National Youth Workers Convention, in Nashville. What do you think? Can you love in the ways Bob is talking about? Can you love people, extravagantly? Think about it. Comment below, and "Walk in Love!" - jay PS - Was this post helpful, insightful, encouraging, or thought provoking? Great!
