February is the month that we generally think about love. Typically it's the romantic love that comes to mind. We promote and the encourage love between a husband and wife, a girlfriend and a boyfriend, but love is much more.
Today, we're sharing two books that we have read and loved that talk about the topic of love. But these books aren't about romantic love. (We'll share a couple of those books later this week.) These books remind us how to love outside of ourselves.
As the Church, we are called to love. But let's be honest, that's hard to do. Too often we're selfish and self-centered, focusing and caring about ourselves far more that we care for others. We chose these two books because of the approach they take as they remind us how to love others, how to be loved and how to love with God. Love Does, Bob Goff
Crazy Love, Francis Chan
