Tired. Just Plain Tired.

I have to say it. I'm tired. Exhausted even.

I can't even begin to tell you just how tired.

In the last 5 weeks my day has gone from time spent studying, preparing sermons, and trying to launch a business, to 8 hours of manual labor in a warehouse or on a job site working for a shelving company. On top of the 8 hours, there is still the studying and sermon prep, my business, and all the events and activities that come with family life and five kids.

At the end of it all, I'm tired. But not just me. My amazing wife is tired too.

Now before you jump to conclusions and say, "Oh, he's just complaining about how hard life is," let me say, this is not a blog of complaints. I am happy to be tired. Because this feeling of tired comes with accomplishment and worth. A feeling that you have done something; something that matters. Like a farmer who breaks his back in the spring plowing, planting and pruning. Then when the harvest comes, he reaps the fruits of his hard work.

There's nothing I dislike more than, not being able to provide for the family. Right now, it feels good to know that I have done what I can to do just that. To go from struggling to keep utilities on and food on the table to a place where we once again have a budget and a plan, is a wonderful t

I believe God does provide. Sometimes in miraculous ways. And sometimes through the sweat of the brow and the soreness of the back.

I'm tired. But it's a good tired. The kind of tired that come from knowing, God is still at the center of my life. And He will continue to care for all my needs!
