Our Fall Hobby Lobby Haul

If you have been following the blog lately, you will know that we love the fall. Even more, we love decorating for the fall.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been collecting, arranging, and decorating our house for fall. We just finished our living room fall make over. We will share our big reveal later this week in our weekly vlog! (It should go live on Friday!)

Before we get into the details of the makeover, we want to share this years new fall decorations. We made our way to Hobby Lobby, one of our favorite home decor and craft stores, to shop for this year's decor.

As we often do, we found a ton of great items that we went crazy for. And while we couldn't buy everything, we did pick up a number of new items to add to our collection of fall decorations.

We're going to showcase eleven fall items that we absolutely love. Later this week you can see how we use each one on our home decor.

Galvanized Metal Trough

One of the first items we picked up was this Galvanized Metal Trough. We absolutely love this metal trough. As soon as I (Jay) saw it, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. It's going to make a great center piece, ideal for our kitchen table, coffee table, or kitchen island.

The trough comes in 3 sizes; large 24 1/16" (27 1/4" Including Handles) in length, medium 22 1/16" (24 7/8" Including Handles) in l, small 20 3/16" (21 7/8" Including Handles) in length.

Purely Pumpkin Potpourri

We grabbed this bag of scented fall potpourri to help fill in around pumpkins, candles, lanterns, and in the metal trough. With a yummy fragrance of pumpkin spice, the bag includes pinecones, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, wood chips, and pumpkins.

Orange Pumpkin Picks

These Orange Pumpkin Picks are great. We picked up two of them, originally for our alpine trees on the front porch. Instead, we're using them with our pinecone potpourri in the Galvanized Metal Trough. They look great and really add to the festive look of our centerpiece project.

Orange Carved Wood Pumpkins

It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but this Orange Carved Wood Pumpkin, is a great accent piece. It comes is three sizes, and looks great set with pumpkins, candles, and pine cones.
Sizes: Small: 5 3/4" tall, Medium: 7 1/4" tall, Large: 8 13/16" tall

With the carved pumpkin we have the Grass & Wheat Bush. We used the wheat grass in a couple of our vases around the house.

Rust Velvet Sunflower Picks

We like sunflowers. When we saw these rust colored sunflowers we knew we had to get a few. We picked up four of them. Our first thought was to use them in our alpine trees with the orange pumpkin sticks. But by the time we got home, we had a better idea. We'll show you the results later this week.

Cotton Tree in Burlap Sack

This Cotton Tree in Burlap Sack is another great item. We decorating, we like to pick items that are unique, a little rustic, and come with some texture. We also look for items that can bring height and balance. This cotton tree table topper is about 18" tall and looks great next to the orange carved wood pumpkins.

Green Dried Oats Bundle

Like the grass and wheat bundle, we really like these Green Dried Oats Bundle. We know it's a little hard to see in this picture, but these oats look great. We paired them with the wheat grass and scattered them around the house.

Wood Pallet Pumpkin in White

This was another must-have item, the White Wood Pallet Pumpkin. The rustic, white-washed boards, dried raffia strands, metal leaves, and coiled metal work together to make this pumpkin absolutely adorable. We initially had the pumpkin on the porch with our alpine trees, but found a better location inside. You'll see that later this week.

Gourd, Pinecone, & Sunflower Garland

Garland. Crazy expensive. But we really wanted to have some garland over our screen door in the kitchen. We shopped around quite a bit, trying to find garland that look relatively real, and wasn't super expensive. We finally found this Gourd, Pinecone, and Sunflower garland that looked pretty good. And, with the in-store discount on all fall decor, the garlands was fairly reasonable. We put it up this past weekend and it looks great.

Assorted Colored Arrangement Bundle

Our final piece of fall is this assorted colored arrangement bundle. Unfortunately we can not find this bundle on the Hobby Lobby website. We bought the bundle at our local Hobby Lobby, but couldn't remember the name of the bundle. Which really is unfortunate but this bundle is beautiful. We paired the bundle with a galvanized metal pitcher with picked up last fall. The red and purple colored leaves look great against the galvanized metal. If we ever find the bundle's name and webpage, we'll come back and update this post.

There you have it, our Fall Hobby Lobby Haul! We are really happy with our fall decor this year. We were able to mix our new Hobby Lobby decorations with the decorations we've been collecting over the last couple of years, and they all look great.
