Earlier this year, we decided to make church a little simpler. Harvest Church introduced LIFEgroups. Harvest Church took the small group model and the example of community in the church in the book of Acts, and launched our ministry designed to create deeper relationships while fostering discipleship and spiritual growth. LIFEgroups are exactly what the name infers, groups of people/families do life together. I want to extend an open invitation to you, to come and join us for this weekends, LIFEgroups! If you live in the Peters Township, Canonsburg, Cecil, North Strabane, Venetia, or Upper St. Clair areas, we would love to welcome you into our growing group! LIFEgroups begin at 6:00 p.m. with a simple dinner. Usually we order pizza, and everyone brings either drinks, salads, side dishes, snacks and desserts. (We also ask for a small donation to cover the pizza costs.) We enjoy fellowship around the table, chairs, floor, wherever. At 7:00 p.m. we gathering in the living room for our bi-weekly study and prayer. It's really a fun and encouraging time. No need to look for baby sitters. This is a family-friendly event. We have plenty for the kids to do as well. Laid back. Fun. Delicious. Filling. And engaging. LIFEgroups are all about the LIFE we live. We are meeting this Friday, April 11, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Higham house. For directions, contact the church via email and we'll share that info with you. Visit the Harvest Church website to learn more about the exciting things God is doing with this new church in Western PA! I hope to see you this Friday evening! - jay PS - Was this post helpful, insightful, encouraging, or thought provoking? Great! I'd love to hear from you!
