The weekend is always fun. Time to relax, be with family, and enjoy some good time with God's people. This past weekend was one of those weekends.
It started Friday night with a great time spent with our LIFEgroup as we finished up, The Love Dare for Parents. While we missed the first four weeks due to football commitments, we were able to catch the last two. And we're glad we did. Even though it was only 2 sessions, they were really good. And kudos to our group leaders who did a great job leading. Saturday, was spent cleaning and readying things for Christmas. The kids did a great job pitching in to straighten the house up. But Sunday... Sunday was the big day. Worship Sunday morning was awesome. Sunday evening we hosted a Christmas party for Harvest and friends. The house was packed. We had so much fun. From the incredible spread of appetizers and desserts to some great fellowship to an awesome good time playing a made up game of Hollywood Game Night. Thinking back now, most of it seems like a blur. It was fast. It was fun. And it was a great snapshot of the week to come. Christmas. Yep, a weeks worth of Christmas vacation. And I can't wait. Stay tuned, we have a great week ahead! - jay
