![]() It feels like it was only yesterday we were loading him into the car to bring him home for the first time. He was so little. But now he stands 6'-2" and he's about to sit in the drivers seat for the first time. That's right, our #1 is about to turn 16 and that means it's time to think about the other thing guys think about…DRIVING. Yesterday, on my way home from work, I had to stop by the DMV to pick up the PA Driver's Manual and permit application. And all of a sudden, the reality of having an almost 16 year is really setting in. It's crazy. The other day I actually said out loud, "I have an almost 16 year old." WOW! And now, I will be taking that "almost 16 year-old," out to learn how to drive. It really is wild to think that in just 3 short years he will be packing up and heading off to college. COLLEGE?!?!?!?!?! Time to slow down and make the most of the time we do have. - jay PS - Was this post helpful, insightful, encouraging, or thought provoking? Great! I'd love to hear from you!
