![]() As I walk through this journey of life as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, the Lord continues to give me a passion to share with women how much control we think we have, and how little control we actually have when we live fully in the grace of Jesus Christ. I am learning daily to submit to God’s plan. I have created this blog to share our story as we walk daily letting God have the reigns in our life. I am the wife of an amazingly Godly and faithful Pastor, the mother to four handsome boys and one beautiful girl. I love Jesus with all that I have and am overwhelmed by His love for me on a daily basis. Our journey has been blessed in ways I could not have dreamed, but it has not been easy or looked the way I have always thought our life should look. Praise God for His sovereignty, faithfulness, and patience!! I am new at this blogging thing, but I want to be able to share God’s goodness and be able to recall His works over and over. I know that I am a work in progress, but I am praying God will use this blog to encourage you in your walk with Christ. Welcome and thanks for reading! - amy *Originally post on Amy's first blog about a year ago as an introduction to her heart. Amy and I have talked for a while about coming together and creating a blog that encourages husbands, wives, and ultimately the family, by sharing the experiences we have as we raise our family of 5. But more than just talking about family, we have a unique perspective as we serve in full-time ministry. Finding and maintaining balance while juggling ministry, family, careers, community, and our marriage is tough. There are days when we nail it, and days when we don't. But our hope is to do our best and rest of God's grace.
Over the next couple of days we will post a few of Amy's blogs that she wrote about a year ago. There is great wisdom in her words that I think you will appreciate. Then starting in November, Amy will post a little more regularly was we continue to create a space that blessed the family. And we'll talk more about the coming changes and expansions as we share some new features. - jay
