Happy Easter! The Higham's celebrated another wonderful weekend together as we rejoiced in the knowledge that Jesus Christ has risen! He's ALIVE! Amen!
We had a great day! Of course we started with worship. The family attended our early service, followed by Sunday school. After Sunday school, we sent the kids home while Amy and Jay stayed for our service. There were the obligatory pictures with the kids which are always fun. Jay had a great children's message. The kids were a little wand up, but that's too be expected with it being Easter and all. Our friend Frank S. snapped this great photo for us.
With the egg hunts complete, we were so blessed to be invited to our friends, Dave and Barb, home for Easter dinner. Over the years we have grown close, so it was a true gift to be able to spend time with their family. There was great fellowship, good food, wonderful conversation, and a little billiards. Aiden won this game.
All in all it was a great day. We made our way back home where we decided to just kick back and relax. We watched 90 Minutes in Heaven, played Scattegories, watched a little Jesus Christ Superstar, and of course The Walking Dead.
It's always interesting around the Higham House during the holidays. With each one we realize that our family is grow up. We knew it would happen, but it's happening so fast. It won't be long before they are spending the holidays with their own families! Crazy! In the meantime, we're going to enjoy the time we do have. We hope that your Easter Sunday was just as wonderful as our. We would love it if you took a few minutes and watch today's Life in the Higham House vlog post! It's not that long, but you get to catch the egg hunts and some of the fun! Thanks for all your support! We hope you have a great week! - the higham family
