Get Your Home Diffuser

We are a little over a week into our 30 Day Essential Oils Challenge. Last Wednesday, we announced that we were taking 30 days to use various essential oil products. (Read our post, The Journey Begins, here.) Our goal was to put the products of Young Living, our partner, to the test and have first hand experience of what we are hoping to share. But just 9 days in, we are already pretty confident in sharing our first product, the Home Diffuser!

Truth be told, we have been using our home diffuser since we opened our starter kit. We are using the Young Living Dew Drop Diffuser, pictured below on the right. Throughout the winter, we've using our diffuser as an air freshener and purifier. As the kids dealt with the sniffles, allergies and colds, Amy would drop different oils into the diffuser to help with their breathing. Mostly the diffuser sat in our living room, adding to the decor and helping to fill the room with delightful aromas from the oils.

But then we wanted to really put the diffuser to the test. When we went away to a week of camp, we took the diffuser along. Knowing that we would be staying in a cabin, the possibilities of mold, mildew, and other allergens would likely be present, we thought the diffuser might help clean the air a bit. Within a few minutes of use in the cabin, we noticed a significant change in the air quality of the cabin. At night, we also discovered that it was a little easier to sleep and that the allergies were kept at bay.

When we got home, we moved the diffuser into our master bedroom at night. Jay has been struggling with allergies quite a bit in our current house. We mixed Lemon, Peppermint and Lavender and let it run through the night. It didn't take long to notice a difference. With the diffuser running at night, our room has felt cleaner, fresher, and Jay has been able to sleep better. The stuffiness that the allergies were causing was greatly reduced, leaving Jay with less and less congestion and sinus pressure each morning.

This past week we brought it along to the beach as we vacation in Delaware. We weren't sure how Jay and our other kids would react to the change of locations. Sometimes going away means an allergy flare up. But Jay was congestion free all week. And we used the essential oils with the other kids as well. Not only that, but the Dew Drop Diffuser added to the atmosphere and healthier air quality throughout the week. Because we love the benefits of the home diffuser, we are planning to put one in each room of our house where we have noticed trouble related to our allergies.

And that's why we want to make the Home Diffuser our first Young Living product recommendation! Below we are sharing information on two of the many Young Living Home Diffusers; The Dew Drop on the left and the Home Diffuser on the right.
