Logan Paul Will Never See Our Vlog

Hello family, don't be fooled by the title of Wednesday's vlog, this is not a Logan Paul vlog. It's actually our back to school vlog! Let me tell you what happened.

The kids went back to school this passed Monday. The conflict was, Monday was also Logan's college move in day. So we gave the kids the choice, stay home and go to school or go with Logan to college. Nate, a senior this year, wanted to go to school, and we didn't blame him. Aiden, Asher and Breya wanted to go to college with Logan, Amy and Jay. That led us to make Tuesday our back to school day!

But something happened as we made our way to pick up some school supplies. If you watch the vlog on a regular basis, you might hear one of the boys, either Aiden, Asher, or sometime even Nate, make a reference to Logan Paul. Logan Paul is a popular YouTube vlogger who has found tremendous success with his wild and crazy antics. He also has a number of phrases that he repeats throughout his vlog that our guys love to quote.

In the vlog, Aiden quotes one of the those phrases and Jay calls him out. "Why are you always quoting Logan Paul? It's not like he's ever going to see any of our vlogs." Well, for the rest, you got to watch the vlog.

We had so much fun laughing and joking to and from the store. The sad part was, it was too dark to record the ride home! Oh well.

Thanks so much for continuing to be a part of the blog and the vlog!

The 2017-2018 Blogging/Vlogging Schedule

We want to say thank you, Thank You, for your continued support of the Higham Family blog and the Life in the Higham House vlog! We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our story with all of you! And, we look forward to continuing both the blog and the vlog into the new school year! So here is what we're thinking.

We have worked really hard to create some consistency over the last couple of months. In June, we decided to attempt to vlog on a daily basis. While we didn't actually make it with daily vlog posts, we did post more vlogs this summer than we did last summer. The only times we were unable to vlog regularly were the weeks we were at camp and on the mission trip.

As for the blog, we tried to post as much as we could. Unfortunately it wasn't as much as we wanted. The summer was pretty busy with both Amy and Jay traveling, working and shuttling kids all over the place.

As we look at the upcoming school year, we know we want to continue sharing our story through the Life in the Higham House vlog and The Higham Family blog. However, we also want to be realistic about our time and the reality of maintaining both the blog and the vlog while balancing life here in the Higham house. So we've come up with a schedule for both.

The Higham Family Blog
Raising Stronger Families Together

From day one it has been our hope to be able to share content that is encouraging, helpful and hopeful. We want to share our faith, the story of our family and what God is teaching us. And, with His help, that's what we're going to continue to do. So here is what we're planning for the coming school year.

Mondays
Tuesdays

Wednesdays
Thursdays
Fridays
Saturdays & Sundays

Watch for a family focused blog post.
Encouragement for husbands and wives that strengthens marriages and relationships.
We plan on posting and sharing our journey with essential oils.
Look for another family focused blog post.
We will share a blog post from the internet or offer a recap of the week.
We will take the week as an opportunity to rest. No posts on Saturday or Sunday!
All blog posts will go "live" at 1:00 p.m.

Life in the Higham House
The Official Vlogging Channel for the Higham Family

We have had so much fun creating our vlogs. And we are thrilled that our channel is growing! We plan to continue sharing our family with more vlogs. But like the blog, we know that it will be a challenge to do all that we do AND post a daily vlog. We're just not there, YET. Our dream is to be able to have a daily vlog. Until we can get to that point, we are going to continue pressing forward. So here is our 2017-2018 vlogging schedule.

Mondays

Tuesdays
Wednesdays

Thursdays

Fridays

Saturdays &
Sundays

We will share our adventures of the weekend including anything from Friday as well as Saturday. We probably will not vlog on Sunday unless something special happens.
Kids Talk, our webshow with the kids will post regularly.
Another Life in the Higham House vlog will post with footage from Monday & Tuesday.
Parents Talk, our webshow featuring Jay and Amy discussing various topics will post.
A third Life in the Higham House vlog will post with footage from Wednesday & Thursday!
The weekends will be left  to just having fun as a family and getting content for Monday's vlog post.
All vlog posts will go "live" at 7:00 p.m.
So, that's the plan, blog and vlog. We have been brainstorming topics, content, and learning how to be more creative with both. We are learning from other vloggers, making connections with other family vloggers, and working to grow our social media platforms. We have so many ideas and can't wait to share them with you!

If you already follow us on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram, or have subscribed to the YouTube channel, thank you! But be sure you have turned on your notifications as we will be increasing our posting with encouragement and fun family posts.

If you haven't subscribed or don't yet follow us yet, please consider doing so.
