God never ceases to amaze me. And His blessing never end. I have shared about the financial difficulties we have had as we work to establish this church plant. While it has been hard, God has continued to prove Himself while reminding us to simply be obedient. Starting next Monday, I will begin a new chapter in our life of ministry as I take on a new job. For the last 6 months, I have been very fortunate to be able to work with a wonderful company that buys, sells, and installs heavy duty, commercial grade shelving. The job has helped to keep food on the table, the water running, and the lights on, literally. It's tight, but God is good. And we're thankful. But the work itself is physically exhausting. Quite often, I come home absolutely beat. Amy and I have been praying for months that God would provide another opportunity to earn money that would both lessen our financial stress and the physical wear and tear. God has answered our prayer. Next Monday I will move from the warehouse of one company to the office/cubicle of another company. This new job is a true answer to faithful prayer and patience because it will help us financially as well as with time management. With this new job, the work will be much less physically demanding. The hope is that I will come home and NOT fall asleep on the sofa or at my desk while trying to study or read. What will I be doing? Well, it's kinda hard to explain in a blog, but for the most part I will be working in the energy field. The natural resources in this area are pretty plentiful. They have brought a lot of new jobs and financial hope to the area. I will be working with one of the companies that provide pipelines for the transportation of the new unearthed resources. AS I become more and more familiar with the work, I'm sure I will share more. But in the mean time, can I ask you to keep praying for us, this new job, and the church plant. I am realizing that it;s been a while since I've updated you all on what's happening at the church. I will have to do that soon. Till then, thanks for reading. - jay PS - Was this post helpful, insightful, encouraging, or thought provoking? Great! I'd love to hear from you!
