We're Jay and Amy Higham, and we're so glad you're here.
For more than 30 years of marriage, we've been learning what it means to pursue Jesus, love one another, and build a family rooted in faith. Along the way, we've raised five incredible kids, served in full-time ministry, navigated busy schedules, celebrated milestones, endured challenges, and experienced the abundant grace of God through it all. The truth is, we don't have it all figured out. We're not experts. We're simply a husband and wife seeking to follow Jesus and asking the same questions many families are asking: How do we love each other well? How do we raise children who know and follow Jesus? How do we remain faithful in the midst of everyday life? How do we grow spiritually through the ordinary moments God has entrusted to us? At the Higham House, we believe that the ordinary moments of life often hold the most extraordinary opportunities for faith, discipleship, and spiritual growth. Through stories, conversations, and practical encouragement, we invite others to gather with us in and around the Higham House as we pursue Jesus, love one another, and share the hope we've found along the way. Through our blog, podcast, and Almost Daily Vlog, we hope to offer authentic encouragement for marriages, families, parents, ministry leaders, and anyone seeking to follow Christ faithfully in everyday life. We want to celebrate the joys, acknowledge the challenges, and remind one another that none of us walks this journey alone. More than anything, we want this to be a conversation. We would love to hear your stories, lessons learned, and the ways God is at work in your life and family. We believe that when we share honestly, encourage one another, and point each other toward Christ, we all grow stronger together. Everything we do is grounded in our faith. We trust God and strive to live according to His Word, the Bible, as our source of truth, wisdom, and hope. While we certainly don't do it perfectly, we continue to depend on His grace each and every day. So, whether you're navigating marriage, parenting teenagers, launching adult children, serving in ministry, or simply looking for encouragement in this season of life, there's a place for you here.
